About Dr. Kate

Dr. Kate is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, with a passion for empowering others to take control of their own health. It was her own struggles struggles with PCOS as a teenager that led her to naturopathic medicine, where she learned to effectively manage her hormones with nutrition and lifestyle, instead of relying on band-aid solutions for her symptoms.  It is now her mission to share this experience with her patients and allow them to gain the tools they need to be in the drivers seat of their own healthy journey.

Dr. Kate has a special focus on women’s health including: fertility, PCOS, PMS, endometriosis, menopause, and mental health.  As a personal trainer, yoga teacher, and former varsity athlete she values the importance of movement in supporting the mind-body connection, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Her treatment philosophy is focused on uncovering the root cause of your concerns by spending time attentively listening to you, diving into your past medical history, and using comprehensive lab testing. Your treatment plan will be focused on promoting your body's natural ability to heal through optimizing your nutrition, botanical medicine, evidenced-based supplement prescription, acupuncture, exercise prescription  and lifestyle medicine.

Dr. Kate completed her undergraduate degree in Honours Kinesiology and Physical Education at Wilfrid Laurier University before attending the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine for her Doctor of Naturopathy. She is now a licensed Naturopathic Doctor in Ontario, and maintains professional memberships with the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
